Pool INSPECTIONS
Residential
When purchasing a new home, homebuyers often neglect a specialized pool inspection. This can lead to unexpected expenses in repairs after purchase. Here at West Coast Pool & Spa, we bring over 40 years of experience in professional pool and spa inspections. Both a verbal and written report will be provided on the pool structure, equipment, and all associated components.
Commercial
On a commercial property we will inspect the pool structure, equipment, and all associated components, as well as include observations on adherence to municipal regulations. Please note: We report on the pool structure, but cannot be held liable for underlying geotechnical integrity. If we suspect instability, we will document our concerns and recommend further investigation by a qualified engineer.
Our inspection does not include a conclusive judgment on whether the pool or spa is leaking. Obvious signs will be documented in our report, but the seller should disclose knowledge of any leaks.
A separate comprehensive leak detection service is available which requires the seller to provide full access to the installation. To avoid any conflict of interest, we will not conduct pool inspections for locations currently using West Coast Pool & Spa maintenance services.
Depreciation REPORTS
For commercial and residential pools, we can also prepare a report on all operation, maintenance, and replacement costs expected over thirty years to maintain the optimum condition of your system.
